Jabra Enhance launches its smallest over-the-counter hearing aid yet with future-ready connectivity
Jabra Enhance, a leader in the direct-to-consumer hearing carespace, today launches Jabra Enhance Select 500, its smallest, mostadvanced hearing aid yet. The Enhance Select 500 is the newflagship model in Jabra Enhance’s lineup of over-the-counterhearing aids. It delivers the latest in hearing technology withSoundScape™ for next-level listening and advanced Bluetoothfeatures including Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast™ forfuture-ready connectivity.
The Enhance Select 500 features a “Micro RIE(receiver-in-ear)” design that is 25% smaller than standardreceiver-in-ear hearing aids and 15% smaller than its predecessor,Jabra Enhance Select 300. Their ergonomic shape makes them ascomfortable as they are small, and their low center of gravityprevents unwanted movement on the go.
The hearing aids are designed to emulate thenatural hearing process as closely as possible with SoundScapeproprietary speech clarity technology. SoundScape prioritizesspeech and reduces background noise, for more natural, immersivesound in one-on-one conversations, even in the most complexlistening situations. The Enhance Select 500 also offers an addedlayer of uniquely tailored programming for difficult listeningsituations like restaurants, one-on-one conversations, and loudenvironments.
The Enhance Select 500 is complete with keyfeatures for convenience, including hands-free phone calls whenusing a compatible Apple or Android device. With TapControl, userscan answer calls by double-tapping their ear or hearing aid. TheJabra Enhance Select app makes it easy to adjust your own settingssuch as modifying bass and treble settings or choosing environmentprograms to better suit your situation. A single charge powers theEnhance Select 500 for a full day. For on-the-go power, theincluded charging case holds up to three full charges before havingto be plugged in to recharge.
Bluetooth LE Audio is the new standard inconnectivity that improves audio quality, battery life, and enablesmore stable connections. The hearing aids support Bluetooth LEAudio streaming for calls, music and media when using a compatibleApple or Android device. The Enhance Select 500 is also ready forthe future with Bluetooth Auracast. Many concert venues, eventspaces, and transit stations are expected to offer support for livebroadcast audio transmission to an unlimited number of Auracastdevices. With Auracast capability built-in, the Enhance Select 500will support these direct audio transmissions*.
