Mr. and Mrs. Oliver W. Powers, Pound, leave for London and the United States tomorrow, leaving their daughter-in-law, Barbara, to press for a reduction in the 10-year sentence given the American flier last week for espionage. Powers sent word to his father to "please bring money" to their last meeting, so that the flier can buy cigarettes and other small items in jail.

Powers also sent word to his father that he could use a watch, his having been forfeited to the Soviet state treasury under the terms of his sentence along with other valuables he had when captured. Barbara Powers also was to see her husband today, but after his parents visited him. Barbara waited for a reply to a letter she dispatched to Nikita S. Khrushchev yesterday, asking the Soviet premier to see her so she could appeal for clemency for her husband. Khrushchev is vacationing at Yalta.

7 Crash Claims 2nd Life As Voman Dies MADISON TOWNSHIP Mrs. Eleanor Keenoy, 58, Newark, died last night in Perth General Hospital from injuries suffered in an auto accident on Route 35 near Laurence Harbor. Dead on arrival at the hospital after the 6 a.m. accident yesterday was a Ft. Monmouth soldier, Victor Wallder, 18, Nutley.

Police said he was returning to the fort when his car skidded into an oncoming car. The other car was driven by John Johnson. 18, of Garden Cliffwood. Johnson and his passenger, John Keenoy, Mrs. Keenoy's husband, were listed in fair condition by the hospital today.

WOMAN BLINDED, DRIVES IN CREEK BROWNWOOD, Tex. (P) Seconds before the car she was driving plunged down a steep embankment Mrs. J. B. Aldridge, 42, told her daughters: "I've gone stone blind." She and her 16-year-old daughter, Barbara Alice, died when the car fell into Blanket Creek, 11 miles east of here last night.

Another daughter, Shirley, 15, told of her mother's statement. The family lived in Brownwood. Shirley and Sharon Benita Shipman, 11, of Goldthwaite, were injured. INFANT LEOLA DOVER TOWNSHIP-Saima H. Leola, daughter of Mr.

Two Injured In Head-On Auto Crash MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP Two young men were critically injured this morning when their cars crashed head on on Route 70 just south of Ft. Dix. Admitted to Burlington County Hospital, Mount Holly, in critical condition were Petty Officer Willie F. Ward, 20, attached to a blimp squadron at the Lakehurst Naval Air Station, and Henry, W. Boydens 28, of New York City.

Each suffered multiple fractures and lacerations, police said. Mr. Ward was transferred to the Ft. Dix army hospital later this morning. Trooper James Cummings of the Ft.

Dix state police barracks said Mr. Ward was driving east on Route 70, and Mr. Boydens was going west, when their cars hit head-on in the eastbound lane of the highway at about 1:40 a.m. Each man was driving alone. The Browns Mills First Aid Squad took the men to the Mt.
